Habt ihr auch an die ein oder andere Verzurröse gedacht?
Ja, Verzurrösen wird es geben. Deren Position legen wir jedoch pragmatisch im aller letzten Schritt fest und positionieren, wo sie gefordert sind und strukturell gut angebunden werden können.
I often use my TWIKE 3 to transport my XL sized fatbike to the trail head and back. It takes under 30 seconds to remove the passenger seat, store it on the luggage shelf, remove the front wheel of my bike, lower the saddle, put the bike inside facing backwards, and put the front wheel alongside. No need to secure it, as it fits perfectly !
The only problem is that the bike usually is extremely muddy on the return trip, but as my TWIKE 3 has no upholstery – a ’naked TWIKE‘ 😉 – cleaning is easy enough.Would this also be possible in my future TWIKE 5 ? I’m secretly hoping that I can shove it in hole, through the back door 😊
By pre-ordering the trailer hitch, I am sure that I will be able to carry my bike on a bike carrier.
The bike’s dimensions are 180 cm x 116 cm x 73 cm (handlebar width), so it will stick out 14 cm on each side.
Or I could even tow two bikes on a lightweight bicycle trailer.
PS. I also sell home made apple juice and apple cider with my TWIKE 3. It can carry up to 8 tall, narrow crates of 6 one liter bottles. Looking forward to the enhanced carrying capacity of the TWIKE 5, and especially the easy access through the back door !
The passenger seat on the TWIKE 5 can be removed just as quickly, perhaps even faster. Whether the volume of the very large bike will fit into the TWIKE is something we will have to try out in practice. In the worst case, however, it can go on a holder on the trailer coupling. The front wheel could also be removed so that it does not protrude. A trailer for 2 bikes is always possible, yes. Thanks for your contribution and your question!
Mit 12 Kisten Bier im TWIKE kann man hoffentlich doch noch sehen was von rechts kommt. Oder ist es bei der aktuellen Politischen Lage besser nur nach vorne zu schauen?
Die Übersicht bleibt gewahrt und aufgrund der oben liegenden Aussenspiegel bleiben wir auch rücksichtsvoll 🙂
